The PR that I ordered from Mrfiberglass showed up the other day I cast a Baron and a Sierra snake skin and a logo blank from the company I work for. I turned through the PR on the ends of both snake skin pens. Also, there are a few white spots next to the skin.

I wiped the skins down with isopropal alcohol before casting. In my rush to get this done I forgot to degas before casting at 60 lbs. pressure.

I was happy with the way my logo pen turned out, although I had a lot of trouble with the pictures, after 4 trips down to my basement studio (my wife calls it her laundry room) I gave up.

Nice job Steve. To bad about the snake skin. Things I need to know when I try it.
The loge pen looks great. Seems you have that one mastered. Looks like I have some catching up to do.[:)][:)][:)]

Nice looking logo pen! Have you tried a Sierra Vista for a snakeskin? They have room for a thicker layer of PR over the snakeskin. I saw one at Anthony's the other day and the depth of PR kind of magnified the snakeskin.
