I will be attending my last NBA game tonight. Kings vs Lakers. Not looking forward to it. It will be sad because the Kings are probably moving to So Cal so the owners will be closere to the Housewives of Orange County. Been season ticket holder with BIL and some friends for almost 20 years. Lot of blame being thrown around but the reality the Maloof's are hurting financially and can't an Arena built here in Sacramento. So they are out of here. As I am not a great Fan of the NBA I usually don't follow the playoffs after the Kings season is done although I will probably watch the championship game. I did enjoy the Kings and the group in our section of seats but it is time to move on I guess. The money we save on season tickets will be spent on a cruise this fall and season tickets next year to the River Cats minor league baseball team. I also will be making a trip to INDY this year, so there is an upside.

To bad it's Laker game because of lousy attendance there will be 40+% Laker fans there. Over the past couple of years I have not attended these games because some of the fans get obnoxious and there have been dangerous situations develope. If it wasn't the last game I wouldn't be going. After the situation at the recent Giant/Dodger game it is a little scary.

The Kings used to be my favorite team back in the 90s. Sad to see them move. I attended several Charlotte Hornets games in their first seasons, it was sad to see them move, too.

The sun came up this morning, the grass is green the shop is warm, life goes on. Good game Kobe stabed us in the heart again. Many hung around for 30 min after the game. The team came back out to say goodbye, coach came out. the Radio and TV announcers finially fell apart, wife said watching and listening was hard.

Laker fans kept it fun and were respectful, thanks. There were a few incidents in the parking lot, but nothing like at past games.
Don't know what is going to happen now it's up to the NBA and the owners. I will miss the games and the fans in our section got to know most by first names. Some will find other teams to root for, me I don't think so time to do other things. Now if for some reason the Kings stay then we will see. But I would guess I would be in Section 209 row E seat 14 again.

Time to start painting the kitchen cabinets so I can play with the lathe and pens again.

Go Spurs.

The Kings have one of the most passionate players in the NBA. He has loads of talent and doesn't back down from anyone. You know I mean "Big CUZ", Demarcus Cousins. He was loved at UK.

Cousins can be a star. He needs to mature emotionaly. He was booted in the 4 quarter last night for his second Technical foul. We could have used him. The problem is Tyreke Evens thinks he is the 2nd coming of Kobe and he is not even close yet and there is friction. Evan's took 4 shots from 3 point range in overtime and missed all 3. He is another that need to mature. Doesn't matter now as they are gone. The Maloofs will not own the team in 2 years or less. Samueli the ower of the Duck and operator of the Area will. The Maloof's are in big trouble financially. They own the Palms in Vegas which is going down. The family is trying to play with the big boys and they are not, they are wannabe's.
