Laser Engraving Alumilite

Does anyone know if you can Laser Engrave an Alumilite pen blank? Thanks for any info.

I played with it a little. You will fire through clear and burn what is underneath. If you try colored resin be very light with the pass as it can turn into a melted sticky mess quick. Never tried but expect paint then burning with a light pass and removing the paint may give a good result. So the basic answer is yes, it appears possible, but I never came up with what I would call the best combination before moving.
