Laminated/Segmented Bowls From Scraps

Yesterday I posted these left over scraps on my Woodworking Friends site left over from when I made a few dizzy bowls and said they would probably turn into a couple goofy looking bowls . Well I was wrong about them turning out goofy . They turned out better than expected when I finished them off today . .

Thanks Jay and others who responded .
I had now idea what they would look like when re sawing that round 12 segment pine board into two thin boards and then sandwiching them into the other laminated pieces. . I thought they would qualify as goofy looking bowls but like you said Jay , there is quite a bit of 3D effect to them and the same has been mentioned in my site as well as on a few Facebook pages and turning groups there where I posted them .
So I guess I will dub these as 3 D effect bowls . :wink:
