Does anyone know a place to get some affordable lamb? I been wanting to make some roast lamb, but I can't see spending 200 for 2 legs...

If you know of a good website or local farm, let me know. (Reading, PA)

You'd think for $200.00 you could buy a whole one!
Guess I'm out of touch with the cost of lamb?

Good luck with your search!

$200 for two legs is ridiculous. Going rate in my area is +/- $240 for an entire lamb, cut and dressed, depending on weight. I used to pay just over $100, but I knew the shepherd quite well (my old English teacher), and that was a steal of a deal - but the wolves got her flock, so I have to pay going rate elsewhere now!

There is a Wegman's grocery store near Reading in Douglasville (Wegmans Douglassville, PA, 19518 - YP.com). They usually have (or can get) a nice leg of lamb for a reasonable price.
