'Lady Grimace' 😂🫐

G'day!
Inspired by Ash from Rockster pens is this double dyed 'ash' burl. I rushed this pen, and should have measured twice. The barrel is too long and the cap is a tad short. Still functional but is too long in the hand, so will go into my box of NQR pens.
Remember Grimace from Mc Donald's? That stupid purple thing!
Anyway, sleeved with epoxy, spacers and as it is stabilised timber I just sanded to 800 and left it. Has a nice tactile feel.
Will try again with correct dimensions and perhaps matching finials with section.

I think this is quite beautiful even if you aren't completely happy with it. The blank is gorgeous and I'm sure it would be perfect for someone with larger hands.

I like it a lot and I agree that color matching finials and section could improve the overall look. Perhaps also add spacer material at the body-section threads junction?
