I decided to make a kuksa ala Mike Mahoney. I did my differently than he does. I did a multi-axis turning and then carved it. Magnolia finished with walnut oil. I bought the walnut oil a couple of years ago and had to do some searching to find it. Turn's out it was Mahoney's walnut oil.

Great project Cody. I love the rustic profile and finish; much better than a more refined finish - Just my opinion.

I have a container of "Ohio Amish Filtered Walnut Oil". I got it about 4 years ago, still use it with good results. Nothing fancy, just a nice basic finish.
