This post is long overdue and I apologize for that, but I am one of the world's great procrastinators.
Many moons ago I purchased some alt ivory blanks from Ed & Dawn. When I drilled the first one it was very powdery - and I posted on this forum my concerns about a powdery blank.
Well, I was contacted by Ed & Dawn, because they really keep up on things. They encouraged me to turn the blank, but before I turn it I should watch the video on their site where Ed shows how to turn an alt ivory blank.
I turned it just like Ed did in the video and it turned out just great!
I don't have a picture - I don't have the photo thing perfected yet.
Someday I will show you all how I'm doing.
Again, thanks to Ed & Dawn.
