KOA Wood

What do you think of this KOA. This is part of the package Chris sent me in exchange for a pen or 2. The package contained more than just KOA, there was Mango, Koa, Milo, Red Gum and a couple of others in it. I tried to turn some tonite and promptly ruined 2 pens but I still have plenty going to work on them this week and hope to get them to Chris by Christmas. Thanks again Chris

Jerry, all of those woods should turn fairly easily. I have turned all of them with wood from Chris. Was the problem with the wood, or something else?

No problems at all except my own stupidity and not using epoxy to set the tubes. Actually I have turned a couple of pens for Chris out of them, have not sent them yet still thinking of whaich to send because I have several more in the works so I can send him a good set.
