Hi everyone, I spent the past few days harvesting some very nice Koa trees and I decided to post a picture of one of the Koa logs on my woodmizer mill and ready to go. I got 42 logs in all so I will be busty milling for the next week or so.
I like this picture so much I decided to make this picture my new avitar, I hope you folks enjoy the picture, aloha.

Hi everyone, thanks for the replys. Scott, I have a woodmizer LT 40HD, it is a good mill that is motor and hydraulics so I dont have to break my back lifting the logs and it has a automated log roller and lifts and clamps, it is FUN to play with :) I can cut about 27 inches wide.
Mark, let me know any time you need Koa, I have tons, no really I have tons :)
Jon, I did get the roots, I make bowl blanks and pen blanks from the real curly stuff down there in that area if the tree. Aloha.

That is a cool picture!!! I like how you cant see the bottom half of the wheel and tire!

Nice log!!

Hi guys, the mill tire is in the wood dust from milling it looks a bit like mud but it is saw dust, well I am off to the mill site and wont be back till this afternoon, hard to believe it is only 7:35 in the morning here:)
As you all know if you do ever need any Koa you know to just ask, aloha.
