Been working on this for a while but a couple of blizzards got in the way of shop time ...

Alumilite Mutt blank
metal nose tip
clip from the drawer of cigar twist parts
Gold SKM-88 clicker

All the clickers I've made have shown the tip to be a weak point and chipped within a short timeframe; thus the use of a metal tip.
Gold SKM-88 clicker (wish I had more)

Couple hiccups:
Did a poor job matching the nose taper.
Broke the teeny tenon for the clip while sanding.

4.45" plus the external length of the SKM-88

Parker/Schmidt EZ-flow P9000 refill
Refill exchange by removing clicker mechanism

Next concept test will be for Schmidt 8126 capless rollerball which will be about half inch longer.

That's a really nice pen. I love that you're doing the kitless clicks. How did you make, or where did you get, that tip? How is it attached?

TNX Todd,

The tip is from Richard Greenwald but I have a credit card slimline to scavenge a similar tip. Glued in place. The CC slimline has to be drilled out just a bit due to the difference in cross & Parker tip diameter.
