Thanks everyone for all the kind words. Yes two blanks were used.

I may go commercial after retirement from sea service, say in five years from now. I request for a guide line on pricing the pens.
This pen cost me about 18 to 20 UK pounds in materials. What would be a fair and practical sale price for a pen like this?
Please note this pen is not for sell. I like to have this information as a general guide only. Of course there would be shipping cost, business tax and overhead costs to add. If I can break even I may decide to sell after retirement. Kindly share your views.

A remarkable pen. There are MANY superb pen makers on this site. I doubt more than a handful are able to sustain pen making as anything more than paying for the next set of blanks. If you have unique design and creative ability -- and this pen shows you might-- you could pull it off. Networks and social media help.

Thanks for the valuable input s. Though I doubt very much if I would have time to become a full time custom pen maker. As of now it is a hobby only and very gratifying at that. How ever it feels good to know the worth of ones own work. Thanks again.
