Hi guys, here's my latest kitless that I've called the Beta (second in my kitless line). This one is also my first shot at an eye dropper but it also takes cartridge/converter. It's longer than most pens I make but boy does it feel nice in your hand. Thanks for looking, any CC is appreciated.

Very nice John!
I like the black band at the bottom of the cap and I imagine you must have it inset further into the cap than what shows externally, yet, it doesn't seem to have darkened the light material you used. How thick is the cap, if you don't mind me asking?

Good work as usual John!

Thanks! Eric- the cap is pretty thin, the centerband doesn't extend into the cap at all. I turned a tenon and attached the material.

This is the same approach I take when doing ink windows: Turn the tenon on the more transparent material. That way you don't risk having the tenon show through.

BTW, excuse my ignorance, but what does "eye dropper" mean in this context ?
