I never thought of making an Exacto knife. . Perhaps that's because I never saw one made before.

Did you buy the blade holder as a part (if so, where) or did you take it off a complete purchased Exacto knife ?

I snagged the collet (Blade holder) from a $4 exacto knife, exacto uses a 10-24 thread, so it was easy to do in comparison to making a #6 Jowo section.

Also, the blade is replaceable same way as a standard exacto.

The big win here, is that the threaded cap stay on in your pocket!!

I complained a couple months ago about all my x-acto knives disappearing. so my wife got me 30 cheap ones for christmas. I been turning and making handles the last couple weekends. So far 3 of those have walked off. I love my daughter!!!
