I was itching to get into some of the vintage cellulose acetate I bought from SteveG, so I decided to make a rollerball pen, since I don't make those very often. Given the limited supply of the material I had, I decided to go ahead an make a fountain pen section for the pen as well, so I could have a convertible pen, and knock out two birds with one stone. The pen is made from a maroon/red chunk cellulose acetate, with ebonite as the secondary material, and hand fabricated bronze accents and clip. Making the nose cone was especially fun, and that was turned from bronze bar stock. As a fountain pen, it has a #6 jowo nib and uses a standard international converter. As a rollerball, it uses a pilot G2 refill. This one was a lot of fun to make!
