This is my first work on original celluloid. Had this 1930's original celluloid blank purchased from Turner's workshop.

Kanwrite 5.5 mm nib and Schmidt k5 converter used in this. I was extra cautious and slow in order to avoid damage to the workpiece. Moreover this is a regular size pen, please see the comparison shown with a Wingding 233 pen.

I am generally happy to make the pen as desired. Hope you like the pen design. Welcome comments and criticism.

Very nice work !! . I like the way you have matched the size of cap and size of barrel. .
I also like the way you have mounted the clip almost invisibly. . Congratulations !!

A Fantastic Pen Soumitra,
Over the past year your Pens have Improved Significantly, and are now Very Consistent with Regard to the Design, Profile and Proportions, and your Section's are also Very Consistent.
This means that now, the main item of Differentiation, is in the materials that you source and use in your Pen Construction.
On this occasion you have Chosen a Magnificent Celluloid Blank, and have Crafted it to your Usual High Standard.
Therefore for Future Posts I have little to comment upon, except The Blank Materials You Select, so my Critique's will be significantly brief.
Congratulations, Soumitra,
Brian.

Nice work. I see you have rounded off the end of the lower body using the Cellulose acetate tube.

Did you use acetone or MEK to "weld it"?

No sir. I had a crushed ice black & white acrylic blank leftover piece, nearly matching the celluloid in colour and pattern. Used this material to make end finial plugs.
