Great video. Thanks. I am learning the skew after many years of pen turning. This is a different way then I've tried.

That first bead is pretty ugly, but he does have skills.

Every video I've watched that shows good skew skills has the tool rest set so that the skew is at the top of the piece and almost horizontal when positioned to make a cut. When I see someone demonstrating a skew and they have some issues their tool rest seems to be too low.

Just an observation.
