I have been wondering for a while about doing a pen with different upper and lower barrels. Shown below is a "partially" segmented Diamond Knurl roller ball. The upper is brown mallee burl with a good bit of sapwood. The lower is the same blank with more heartwood and is segmented with copper and black walnut. My question is: would you keep it as is or redo the upper barrel with segments? I'm really interested in what the IAP memberships thinks. Thanks in advance.

I would not redo it. While I prefer matching upper/lower blanks with the segmenting, It looks very attractive as is. Nice combination.
