Here’s my first one of these. Wood is zebra wood with just an old fashioned friction polish. I opted to add some o rings for gripping and it feels pretty good in my hand. I also opted to ditch the plastic cover and add a matching one. The original Bullseye Apollo mandrel make a very decent jam chuck to do the closed end cover.

Just making blanks for future pens. I bought some burl cutoffs, perfect for hybrids.

Here’s two more. Nixed the o rings and just cut finger grips into the wood, both stabilized and dyed maple. Stock caps. Significant other already claimed the red one. I think I like these better than the o ring version.

I do like the carved rings better than the O-Rings. They look great.
