The kits I bought had stands for the eggs. It doesnt take much effort to make one.
Same here... if I didn't want to spend the extra money on the egg stands, I would take a piece of scrap and turn a little "egg cup" for display... sometimes I just laid the out on a piece of felt on the table.... they were an excellent seller for me, but haven't done one in a while... the kits all advanced in price to a point I didn't feel was profitable.

In 2009 I was selling "eggscopes" for $35. I sold LOTS, but they were displayed at the front of the booth.

Today, I would try $45 as a price point--which means I would make about $25 each--I can turn them quickly, so I would be ok with this, but I certainly agree ALL products are higher price than they were a decade ago. But then, eggs were 69 cents a dozen then, too.
