I was looking to have an infusion of variety after selling a number of bolt actions during the Christmas shopping season. This is the first installment: canary wood, diagonal bocote and cocobolo. All were finished with four coats of thin and 8 coats of Instabond Pen finish. I do not add finish until everything is filled on most pens. Oddly, customers have remarked that they can tell it is wood and not plastic as a result. They really have to hunt to find them; IAP folks would find them immediately. The very, very few glossy but not perfectly flat grain areas have helped sell pens. Go figure!

Congratulations Mark.
Firstly, on Superb Bolt Action Pens,
Secondly, on a Worthy and Well Earned Front Page.
Your Profiles, Fit and Finishes, are outstanding.
Love your Pen Stands, and Presentation.
Well Done my Friend,
Kindest Regards,
Brian.

All three are very nice, but that diagonal bocote.... WOW! I love it! The beautiful grain and contrasting colors look great just by themselves, the dark hardware is icing.
