2PM is my retirement reception here at work. When that's over, I'm outta here after 27 years and 2 months.

Get back to work, buddy! You're not off the clock yet!!!:biggrin::biggrin:

Congratulations on your retirement. I'm so far away from retiring that I can't even begin to think about it. Enjoy your party!

Welcome to the club. Be sure to stock up a lot of pens, so you will have something to do.:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Well,I'm home now. Of course I'm so in the habit of waking up at 5:30 every morning, I'll probably still do it for a few weeks....but at least I can go outside, sit in the swing, enjoy a cup of coffee, watch the sunrise and listen to all the roosters in the neighborhood.

Congratulations! Enjoy a couple of days and then enjoy being busy doing what you (and the better half) want to do!

Monty,
Enjoy your cessation feelings and prosper.

When I retired 14 yrs ago I sensed a resentment of invasion from SWMBO got it out of circulation real quick by asking her bluntly and with vigour what are you doing now? She bristled with a definite why then I said cause I am going shopping do you want to come this gave me an oportunity lay ghosts and apprehension for a home lady, very into craft, never still
very self sufficient but does not drive.

Someone asked me do tell how you are feeling about retirement how long did it take you to resolve. My answer about 30 seconds however I do miss the interaction with work friends from time to time. Then I had to learn to run not physically but life goes into top gear.

Be safe and well you are always kind to everyone be yourself is my desire for you.Dont sweat the microscopic things leave them at work.

Kind regards Peter.
