This is my second Kitless pen. This is the first one I have done in my work shop. I am working thru many "firsts" on this road. This is an Italian Acrylic rod and a Jowo #6 nib. I made this on a mini lathe using easy wood carbide tools. I only sanded this up to 400 and did a quick polish, as this was more of a test piece. Enjoy.

Nice work. I love the blank. Amazing what Italians can do with their blanks. I have yet to see any of the blank makers here do what they can do.

Looks fantastic to me.

I'm a bit curious about kitless fountain pens and been watching YT vids on them.

Seems like a bunch of time involved, but what a beautiful product.

Making kitless/custom pens is a deep but satisfying rabbit hole. It allows you to start slow like making a simple cap and body using a premade section. Then as your design and machining skills improve you can design and make more parts like a section, clip, accent bands and filling systems.
It takes me a long time to design and make a pen but it helps me relax.
Good luck
