I Just got station in Germay from New Jersey and wondered if there are in wood (pen) turners in German.y I'm just out side of Keiserslutin and looking for any information to keep my hobby going. I would like to join a club if there is one near or find a shop to buy local. There is nothing but forest hear in Germany so someone must be doing some turning...Thanks

You may want to go to the "Members List", click on "Search" and pick "Advanced Search". Enter a location of Germany and you will find out there are a few members, but most are not active.

I checked the American Association of Woodturners to see if any chapters are in your vicinity, but they are a fair piece away. You can check here http://www.woodturner.org/?page=AAWConnectsMap
Hope this helps.... Randy Smith..

Thanks Randy I try both ways, my lathe hasn't arrived yet so I still have some time to feel.my way around.

I was stationed at Ramstein for 10 years. Please travel while you can, you will have a lifetime of memories. Take a two-hour drive south to Interlaken, Switzerland. You will not be disappointed.
