OK, so maybe I shouldn't have started this late at night!

This is a 11/16" round blank that I wanted to use on a Cambridge. I had not made a Cambridge yet, so it was time.

OK, that's a mighty big pen! After drilling the hole, there was not much left to turn. All went well and I'm pleased.

Not sure I'll do many of these kits - beautiful, but not practical for me and I don't sell at this time. Hmnnnnn...

Berea Cambridge Kit and Oldfoxpenblank.

C&C Welcome.

Looks like you nailed it! I haven't seen a Cambridge before, but I may have to look into picking up a couple. Handsome pen, sir!

Magnificent Blank, A Superb Pen, Mark.
Great Fit and Finish.
The Cambridge is a Good choice, as it displays a lot of the Blank.
Your task now is to find someone with Large Hands, in need of a Fantastic Pen.
Congratulations,
Brian.

Really nice pen - you did a great job- I have made probably 10 cambridges and really like them. They are a little tough to sell but I only have three in inventory - If you sold pens I doubt if you would have much trouble!

Mark I am only a "short squirt", 5'6".
I would probably need a block and tackle just to lift it.
Thanks for your kind thought, though.
Sorry but you have to look further a field.
Kindest regards,
Brian.

That's a good looking pen. Is it the same size as a CSUSA Statesman? Is that an all-acrylic blank or is there wood there too?

Hi Jerry:

Stabilized and dyed boxelder burl from Oldfoxpenblanks.

Had to check on the kit question.

NO.

Berea Cambridge - drills (31/64 = .48" = 12.2mm)
(33/64 = .515" = 13.08mm)

CSUSA Statesman - 10.5mm
- 12.5mm

Different profiles also.

I think that's correct... :befuddled:
