Last week, I did not get started on making the pens for the newsletter until very late in the day Thursday. In the process of rushing to complete a chittum burl pen, I managed to have dull spots in the finish.

Since I was using GluBoost and had never experienced this problem before, there were lots of choices. The easiest was to simply go over the pen with another coat of GluBoost, so that is what I did. Actually, three coats of the blue label, with a short burst of accelerator between coats. Let it sit for a few hours, then sanded with 600 and 1000 grit and buffed with tripoli and white diamond and the pen is BEAUTIFUL!! Finish is GREAT!!

By the "sound" of your title, I was worried about a flaw in the Jr. Imperial kit itself ... what a relief to know it's only about the finish !!!
