For those of you who make these kits, do you use the 12.5 mm and 10.5 mm drill bits or the 12.5mm and the 27/64ths. Or is there another bit in place of the 12.5.

If these are the same size as the Jr. Gent. I like the fit of the tube with the 12.5mm bit but the 10.5 was to loose for my liking.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I have a couple of kits but not the metric bits. Was wondering if something else would work.
The 12.5mm is pretty much the only size I like after trying all the closeby sizes.

Get a piece of scrap wood or acrylic and drill a "Z" size hole and see how you like it for the lower barrel. That's what I use and would be one less metric bit to buy assuming of course that you have a letter drill set.

I use the Z bit and a 1/2" for the top, especially if I'm doing Tru-Stone.
Those blanks don't like to be expanded at all and this seems to have helped.

1/2" is only 8/1000" larger than the 12.5mm. I would not expect it to be a problem. a looser fit yes but not so much that it would not work.
10.5mm and Z are the same size at 0.413"

Yep.. I should have mentioned that. I didn't want to go out and get a set
of metric drill bits just to get one or two, and I already had a set of Enco
A-Z bits in the shop, so that's when I reach for the Z.
I might have to get the metrics anyway..
