I am really loving making Jr. kits ATM. What are the kits you guys really love? Is it worth spending more $ on some Jr kits vs. less expensive kits?

I am interested in the answer to your question, Jason, so will tag along.

Personally, I like the Jr Antony but it's getting up there in price.

At the top end, the Jr Emperor takes the cake.

I can't speak for you, but I find that I get the value from the first three in terms of h/w weight and finish. I like the George the best - totally personal taste.

1.Citizen (little shorter lower barrel)
2.Harold
3.George
4.Aaron

What does ATM mean please.

Hi Jason,

I personally like the Jr Series and all its iterations. I use the Jr Gent and II's for general segmenting; I can screw it up and possibly salvage a decent blank.

The few dollars more per kit is well worth it for me.

For simple pens with just segmented end caps, I like the Aaron and Anthony. The accents are nice. The Jr George is a bit plainer, but still very nice and I do use it.

I will use each depending on the need. I have found that when I give a pen away (my typical, not a sale), the Jr Series is a good platform. As a general thought - I have found these kits and dimensions to be very nice. This is my opinion only.

Why can't I do a "Like" of Mark's post immediately above ?
I guess it's because of this Forum category.
Anyway, I hereby "Like" it !

The Jr kits are my favorites. The extra money is obvious in the weight, feel, and of course hardware. I also think they outshine the other kits I've used in the same price range, and compared to kits $5 - $10 less the jump in quality seems to be the largest. In other words they deliver a lot more bang for the buck. They are by far the favorites of the people I've made pens for too, whether as a gift or for a paying customer. In fact, I'm currently making a third for the same customer. The ladies seem to like the Maj Jr, I'm certain the clip is why. I and the guys who have ordered/been gifted like the Anthony, Aaron, and George. Like Mark, most of mine are gifts, but I've sold more Jr style than any other as well.

"Jr." kits

I think the jr statesman is a classy kit.

In the same style although not called a jr series I like exotic blank's Triton very well.

Haven't done them all, but the Jr series is a favorite of mine as well.
My "regulars":
Jr. Gent--classic
Jr. George--for the antique finishes

My "fill-ins":
Jr. Retro--simple with a flair
Jr. Emperor--a statement
Majestic Jr.--as Jay mentioned, a show piece to get attention

Non-Jr but similar:
Caballero and Leveche with the occasional Baron or Sedona.

I just discovered the Jr.series pens recently and ordered five of the Jr.George kits. I'm anxious for them to arrive and pick out blanks.
