Jr Gent nib section

I have some older Jr. Gent RB ver 2 kits. I've noticed that some of the recent SOYP postings show a different nib section from mine and the pics on their site and in their cat. Did CS change the nib section on the RB or the FP??

They did on the rollerball and I'm not at all sure I like the new shape.

Thanks for the confirmation Gerry. I'm not sure I like the new shape either. I wonder why they changed it because I don't think there was anything wrong with the old style. Maybe just to differentiate from the gent, statesman's and jr. statesman's?

I do not like the new shape. It looks a bit phallic.

They did the same thing on the Jr. Statesman too. Maybe we should all demand in a loud voice that they go back to the old design. I had to change one for customer last weekend. He liked a Jr. Statesman that had the new nib section, but didn't like the nib section. Fortunately I had a couple of older ones and just swapped them.

Why do companies insist on fixing things that aren't broke? BTW I agree on the appearance.
