I'm a lousy photographer So I've been doing a lot of reading in the photography section the last week or so. I.ve learned a bunch and tried to put it to use.

Please let me know what you think of this photo. Comments and opinions good or bad are appreciated.

You have used your time wisely Grasshopper. Great job on the photo and the pen itself. Keep that up and you will make the front cover for sure. The only suggestion I would have is lose the pen stand. Lay the cap down and position the pen on it.
 
Thank you both for your comments. It really was frustrating to have pictures that made the pen look plain and drab. I still have a ways to go, but I'm really happy with the improvements. The pens now look much closer in pictures to what you see when you hold them in your hand.
