Just joined the group. I live in Michigan and purchased a Nova DVR XP lathe when I retired in 2012. Knowing nothing about wood turning, I found the Captain Eddie Youtube videos and launched into a wonderful hobby. I started turning wood from my snow shovel, and graduated into making 22" bowls that were more than 6" deep. I make more than 75 pens each year and sell them through a consignment shop and by commission. I make many PSI Trimline pens, and as many more of their other styles, especially the bolt action pens. I purchased a OneWay Stronghold chuck and use it from pens through large bowls. I also purchased a Comet II midi lathe and use it occasionally for demonstrations and hope to do that again after the Covid mess is behind us.
