Ohio members will remember Bob Jackson @bobjackson who passed away in March 2020. Bob was instrumental in keeping the Ohio IAP chapter running, and was a great cheerleader for IAP overall. He was also responsible for bringing the MPG to Ohio for several years. He was an awesome guy and a great motivator for me personally.
Bob's secret to success was his wife, Joanne. She passed away a few days ago. I don't believe I've ever met a more welcoming and friendly couple. Bob and Joanne opened their home countless times for chapter meetings and picnics, and Joanne always rolled out the red carpet for us with wonderful food and kind hospitality.
@Magicbob let me know yesterday about Joanne's passing and he wrote this: "JoAnne, like Bob, was a great supporter of pen turners. She always had a smile and nice words for anyone who invaded their home seeking Bob's knowledge. After his passing she donated all of his stuff to the local IAP chapter. She will be missed."
RIP Mrs. Jackson.
