The little girl with the half eaten sandwich was so cute. She tried really hard to not be a brat. And the brother picks his nose, and I'll eat it.

Don't know what to say, some of those kids have a few issues, but hey, it was a dirty joke to begin with. I wonder what my kids would have done.

I personally was raised by my grandparents and I was one who was taught (even at 4 or 5) to appreciate any gift; and thank the person that gave it to me. I am trying to instill that level of respect into my daughters also.

I'm a 67 year old ex Marine and I STILL don't have the nerve to say that last boy's comment to my parents much less Santa.
Regardless of what I MIGHT have gotten for the Boy in the red and white shirt after his fit everything I bought would have gone to Good Will perhaps to someone who would not throw a Hissy Fit.

I kind of agree with Black Pearl, but in reality our children for the most part are a reflection of us. Not 100% of the time, but so many parents really don't have the time to spend with their kids, they work a couple of jobs, if they have them, they see parents stressed to the breaking point, and that get's shown through the kids. I saw this when I went to pick up my Grandson at Head Start. some of these 4 and 5 year olds are pretty smart, and also very impressionable, many of us forget what times were like when we were young and what the kids today have to live with, and I'm a 68 year old Navy guy, I didn't think there were any such things as Ex Marines??

My baby is 31 and to this day she and her brothers and sister, say yes ma'am and no ma'am and yes sir and no sir to their elders, as do I to my elders, and I agree with Black Pearl on the lack of nerve to say that to my mom and pop " respect" and on the Goodwill trip or to a child that would appreciate. And again as bitshird said it so well!
