Jet rebate??????????

Long story short. Bought a Jet Lathe shortly after Christmas this past year. There were rebates totalling something like $75. Sent all the paperwork and receipts and such in last January. Come the end of April I had not received anything so I call. Talk to a gal who says she is way behind and overwhelmed. Major cuts in her department that processes rebates, wait a couple months it should arrive.

During the months of May, June, and July my elderly father became critically ill requiring all of my attention. Got him home last week and am trying to catch up on my life. See note about Jet Rebate. Humm, still nothing so I called them today......Eight months later. Guess what? They can't find it. Elvira advises to return to the store and see if they have a copy of my receipt and try to resubmit it. Yeah, right.

Anyone else having trouble with Jet rebates?

I too had a long problem with getting my rebate. Even longer than yours. I fortunately made copies of everything I sent them because I have run into this before. After some emails back and forth and getting similar emails as you got I got this one.

Clarice is no longer with WMH Tool Group – due to cut backs in our Illinois office. I took over processing the rebates in March of this year and I have not seen your rebate information.
I checked the system and it does not appear to be processed there either. We have been finished with rebates for more than a month now, so we evidently did not receive yours.

You can email me a copy or the details of your rebate and I'll be glad to handle it that way.

I did as requested to that person and in a week I had the rebate plus the metal truck they were giving away. Good luck with your situation and stay with it and try that guy, he might be able to help.

Wow... I was gonna gripe about how long it took to get my rebate... after reading this I am just going to be grateful I got it at all.

I got 2 clamps and a nice Jet mobile base...

I called back in April about my purchase from last December and they told me it would be 4-6 more weeks. I kinda forgot about it until I read this thread. I will be calling on Monday.
