If somebody in the Houston or surrounding area is interested in a mini wood lathe, I have a used variable speed Jet VSI 1014 Lathe with matching Jet stand for sale. It includes 6" Tool rest, Live center, 3" face plate, spur center, knockout tool , manual as well as an extra replacement belt from Jet. Would be pick up only. $ 475 or best offer.

Since I was asked...lol..I am definitely not giving up pen turning. Selling because I got a Jet 1221 Variable Speed and stand for Father's Day..:biggrin:. and my shop has gone from being "pretty crowded" to "watch where you step crowded". I bought the lathe in 2009...and have taken really good care of it. .Let me know if you have any questions ..

Not try trying to dissuade you but when I bought my 1220 I made my 1014 a dedicated buffing and drilling station. If you have the room I don't think you'll regret it. I know I don't.

Mike..... that's an awesome idea ..:highfive:...I am now a proud owner of a dedicated drilling and buffing machine for my kitless work .....I.just had to get my wife to move some of her antique stuff out of the garage...and she was great about it. Thank you!
