The Kit is Jazz the wood Hairy Oak. Fist attempt at this Kit and I like the industrial look of the mechanism. Its quite a heavy Pen and maybe not to everyone's taste.
Finish Friction Polish followed by Microcrystalline Wax.

I really like the wood / copper combination. The hairy Oak is gorgeous, and the slight curve is a nice touch as well.
The only thing that stood out to me, and this may be different seeing this in person, but the silver screws seem out of place. I would think the kit manufacturer would have copper plated those as well.
Overall, very striking pen.

Thanks for that now you've made me take a second look I think I agree with you or does it add to the industrial look.
The Clip is quite firm no flexibility so that end of the pen needs to be turned accurately which then does not leave much wood to shape down at the nib so a slight curve was the best I could do. Thanks again for your comments.
