I wanted to do something for the women in my life. I thought the Japanese Chiyogami paper was up to the task. It is a delicate paper that is hand silk screened in a pain staking process to ensure beauty and rich color. What do you good folks think? C&C welcomed!

I think that is one of your most beautiful pens Mark, The plating it a perfect match with the blank. Fit and finish is fantastic.

Very nice job Mark. Some of those papers are very cool. I have not cast any myself but have bought a few from Marla (Crickett). Your photo's might not show it well but on some I have some of the gold shapes just seem to float above the paper.

Very nice job of hidding the seam.

Love that look. I'd like to try casting one like it. Where do you get the paper? I understand it is fairly thin. What do you use to attach to the tube? Do you need to treat it in some way before pouring? Also, maybe a newbie question, how do you deal with the seam where it joins?
