an adapter to install on my 7x14 Chinese lathe so I can use my chucks that fit on my Jet wood lathe. I need an adapter plate to mount on the 3" back plate that has 1" x 8 male threads. Surely I am not the first to have this problem. How did others solve it?
 
Yep - got two of those, and I even bought a MT3 arbor with 3/4 x 16 threads to put it on. There are two problems with that arrangement: 1 - wobbles like crazy, and 2 - destroys the ability to put anything through the hole in the headstock. I want something that will bolt to teh flange in place of the chuck, and allow me to screw on my 1"x8 collet chuck.
