Just turned this today, first pen in over a month.. Oh how I missed it.

Nice blank and kit.
I see a tiny bit of chip out on the clip end of the barrel. If you rub some figure eight patterns on a piece of 320 grit sandpaper, you might be able to sand those out. Your basically shortening the barrel slightly, but trying to keep the end square with figure eights.

I seen that too but there was a couple other spots in the middle to do I decide to leave it and let it have "used look."
Not sure what kind of wood it is, got in the bargain bin at wood craft.

After looking at it, I took your advice and sanded down the best I could. One small spot yet that I was able to put begging the clip..... Thanks
