Lucky I had my face shield on.
My beautiful fiddleback Black Wattle decided that it would no longer participate in the turning process.

I had it rough turned and had repaired all the splits on the outside. It went a bit out of round so my logic????? told me to turn it round again and then I would have a thinner wall to repair from the inside. Well! it sounded good to me.
When my wife heard the thump and no follow up swearing, she thought that she had better come out and see if I was still on my feet. Luckily the only damage was a BIG whack on the shield and everything else missed.
Makes the little piece I cored out VERY expensive, and I was going to have a skite to Ed Street about how nice it was. OH WELL!!!!!
Do you think I should/could glue it back together??????
Cheers
