Here's a ring we did in titanium with an inlay of Gibeon meteorite. We had the meteorite titanium nitrided for the gold color. This is a real space rock that's over 4 billion years old.

Bruce, I love your work, but if I'm paying for Meteorite, I want it to look like Meteorite.

To me this is like when I get people asking for a nice Cherry case, painted black. It's just not right.
 
LOL MIke. I guess that's true! It does contrast with the titanium better this way if nothing else.

I might have to hold off on the tutorial. :o) We sometimes make up to about 15 meteorite rings in a day. Can't let the cat out of the bag just yet. It does involve getting a large metal rock for huge dollars, cnc, and lasers.
