Hello lovely peoples!
I hope everyone is well. I've been here still making pens, busy and thankful to be doing them full time from home on my woodlathe, Riding the wave! 🌊
This one is a combination of spalted Timbers, Tiger Myrtle and pink ash, ebonite, m3 and micarta. A watch crown roll stopper and satin ca finish.
Thanks for looking!

Hi Casey,
It's great to see some of your pens again. I've seen a few on some of the other web sites, but IAP is by far the best forum I've been associated with. Great Pen! - Dave

PS It was sad to hear of your country-mate's passing, Peter Hay (penpal) from Canberra. I always enjoyed chatting with him and seeing his unique style of Streamline pens.

Hey Dave! Hope you're well mate.
Yes, It's sad now that Peter is no longer with us. Still processing it. We spoke multiple times per week, both of us made the trek to each others houses several times. A dear friend that will be missed for a long time.

Thanks guys. I suppose if you keep at it, it eventually works! I do this full time, very lucky

Been a while since I visited here too. Very heartwarming to return and see a superb pen like this.
Well done Casey, I love the satin CA finish.

Outstanding pen! The blanks show a bit of imagination with the contrasting woods. There is crafting and there is artistry. You are in the latter. How did you do the satin CA finish?

Thanks mate! Appreciate the kind words. So I apply the layers and sand back until dull with 400, then a light 600 sand and that's it!
