I just seen an ad on Craigslist for a set of Henery Taylor turning tool but I can find the model online he has for sale to see if it's a good deal or not. So can any check out the picture and see if it's worth $100.

Looks like the 5 piece sets go for $115-$200. But not knowing what set that is, I can't be sure.

Having said that, I didn't find anything on a detailing set yet, but most of the individual detailing tools run about $50 each.

Have looked at the picture of rusty tools and no not a good deal for $100+shipping!

Can buy brand new set of carbon steel tools for just few dollars more!

You often see these tool sets on Craig's list but better to buy from the store.

As Dan said, if they are HSS, I would say it is a fairly good deal. What length are the tools ?

It seems you'd be getting 10 pieces, although I can't really make out the bottom 4 which look like small gouges, etc. or carving tools.

Forgetting the bottom 4, for the top six at $100, that's only $16 each.

The bit of rust is a little unsightly but otherwise won't affect their working, and you can make a fair job of cleaning it off.
