As some of you may know, I have been known to refurb a tool or two. Well, I just brought this home for free. Needs a little work itself, but for the price it's hard to go wrong.

Now that's a gloat. A little RustOleum and that thing will look good as new and will never rust again. Of course, you could always use the outdoor blasting rig to strip the stuff off the indoor unit.[:D]
 
I have been using a sand blaster to engrave names into pens. Woods and corian have worked great, but acrylic it does not go deep enough into.
 
Yea, this will be much of the method on this one. It's not really too bad in all. I plan to grind/sand as much off as I can and use that rusty metal primer followed by the hammertite paint. The hammertite itself is pretty good at keeping things from poping back. I maay be nuts, but it is a sandblaster after all! [:D]
