Had a long day at work and as usual i think about food a lot and out of the blue i had a idea... This might be wrong but i can only imagine it being some new kitchen gadget...

WHAT if i wanted a nice steak and i wanted to infuse it with flavour from my grandmothers recipe book,,,, Could i in theory ( I have not done it yet:bulgy-eyes:)

Put a Piece of steak in a vacuum chamber with the Spice mix/Marinade....

I can just feel the Juicy flavour, is it wrong... i dont care, i just needed to share

We use a Foodsaver all the time to pull in flavors into our meats and chicken.
Whatever you are using has to be thawed out.....it will not work with a frozen beef roast for example.

Stir fry sauces......worcestershire sauce......spices is honey. All of these will work.
Time anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. Once sealed, can be put in the fridge for hours if you want. Fix them up in the morning and make them in the evening. Even burgers will work. But again, these need to be used usually in 24 hours.

One of our favorites.......turkey burgers with chopped onion and garlic power.
Chop one medium onion and mix into two pounds of ground turkey. Add garlic power to taste and mix. then form patties and place into vacume bag. (I make 1/3 pound patties) add two tea spoons of worcestershire sauce and vacuum seal and put into fridge. (3 patties to a bag) after an hour, take out and flatten patties and broil.

It will make you wonder what took you so long to get to this point.
