Is it Possible to Cast Shavings?

I was able to get my hands on some of the original teak decking from the USS Missouri (my Dad did his Midshipman's Cruise on her when he was a Marine). I'm getting down to my last few pieces but I've kept the shavings from the pens I've turned and they fill a couple of gallon sized pretzel containers. Is it possible for them to be turned into pen blanks somehow?

Cast them in epoxy resin.
