why does a video advertisement keep popping up in the corner of the page? It is mostly amazon ads. does this happen to everybody or just me?

I haven't seen it, but it may be your local internet service provider. my isp at work does that and even tracks items you've shopped for and displays them as ads.

I had something similar happen and found a small program had been installed by a site I had visited. Check you Control Panel to see if you can identify the program and then delete it.
