Ironwood Pen with Urushi top layer Urushi

Hi everyone,

I hope you all are OK and that you enjoyed tou Christmas with your family.
I finished this pen today, turned from ironwood. I used Ebonite for the cap and body threads, the section is also Ebonite with hakeme Nuri, a hard brush is used to design the pattern on a mix of urushi and egg white, I added some golden power and sugurome for translucent effect. It shines under light with gold reflections.

Looks great! Too bad I can't see the gold powder on the photos, did you spray it only on the section or on the wood also?
