Hello Everyone

Hello from Maple Valley, Washington. I joined the site a couple of years ago, but life got in the way. I recently picked up a small Shop Fox lathe, and I've cranked out my first pen. I have a few in the hopper for Christmas gifts.

Yup - that's just one. I have at least one more to make along with some bottle stoppers, wine bottle holders, change dishes - here's a change dish I turned out of mahogany. I have the finishing oil/beeswax cooling as I type this for the finish.
