Hello,
I have been guilty of lurking for a while here.... nice place!
I have recently indulged the obsession with wood turning and obtained a mini-lathe... some "stuff" and have been driving my friends and family a bit nuts with "the pens". I have been recently leaning toward learning something about acrylics so that I can save those odd bits of burl and turn them in to pens as well! Well.... that's todays obsession anyway.

If you haven't checked it out, you should do so. there you will find a treasure of information about many aspects of pen turning. Read up, ask questions, with photos when possible, and make many shavings. Have fun.

Welcome. We are practically neighbors since I am in Pensacola. FYI-There is a great woodturning club in Pensacola. Artistic Woodturners. We meet the third Saturday each month.
